I have a friend who has 4.5 yrs experience in Internal audit - she wants to come over to external audit. What level should I refer her for? Senior seems a bit low and manager’s prolly too high?

Had an Excel assessment yesterday as the second to last step in an interview process. I was using a new computer and long story short, had some technical difficulties (or maybe just my own incompetence under stress) and ended up only getting through half of the test. I’m on the fence about emailing my recruiter and explaining the circumstances/asking for a retest. Don’t want to come off like I’m complaining but also don’t want this to be the reason I don’t move forward. Any advice appreciated…

I have a question about audit in Europe. Is the work life balance just as bad? As the stereotype goes, they work as a means to live rather than living to work. If that is true, what is different if the type of work is more or less the same?

So the general consensus is if you’re asked to do 8+ hours of work on a file, have it reflected on your schedule... I have a bunch of clean up for my last file because of review notes left on my last day/client gave more support on last day.
