This has been haunting me all day today. Good karma story. Bought lunch for all my son’s daycare teachers today (Chipotle delivery).
About 15 minutes after placing the order received an alert on a usually quiet local investment talk group on WhatsApp about LMND. Made $12k investment at around $120 and sold at $130 couple of hours later and ~$1k profit. Not a lot but the timing of alert was very intriguing.

Anyone feel lost/sad that this is your life? Not to be dramatic, bc there are so many things to be grateful for in my life. But, I just feel like this job sucks the soul out of me. I work long hours, no end in sight, feels very thankless, and like I have no actual purpose.

At what age were you promoted to the Associate Director/Director-level? I’m feeling a bit stuck in my early-30s and know it’s completely irrational to assign an age to a promotion/title, but I can’t help wallow right now.

I have a colleague that's junior to me in title, but we operate in the same capacity. In particular, we have to collaborate wth the same media team pretty closely. They seem super collaborative with him than they are with me, even though I've been at the agency longer, and work with them on multiple accounts vs. his one. Is this sexism?

My new role has everything I was looking for and wasn’t getting at my previous agency. I now have amazing WLB, benefits, and coworkers and leadership who I respect. Want to give my two weeks notice because my new job starts two weeks from next Monday but my manager is on PTO today (Friday) and Monday.
