I have a hard time hitting my protein intake.
Any tips on how to incorporate more in snacks & meals throughout the day?

Do you consume protein powder? 1/3rd of my daily goal (220g) comes from it. 2 scoops post work-out; 1 scoop at night after dinner/before bed (what I consider dessert).

Yeah I realize I’m a little bit over the recommended amount. I’m a tad over 200 pounds (physically in pretty good shape), so it isn’t outrageously over, but I’m still lifting every day and trying to at least maintain muscle mass while I cut. I’m happier having a higher protein intake at the extent of less carbs. My fat intake is standard.

Can't we just walk around with an IV to give us the proper nutrients we need?!? There has to be a startup out there that provides services like this. At this point I would rather the IV, I work more hours than I did when I was in the office prior to the pandemic and more times than I would care to admit I've gone days subsisting on coffee only remembering to eat before I went to bed (at that point too late) UGH

Greek yogurt, extra egg whites to scrambled eggs/omelet, one extra ounce of meat at each meal time, protein powder added to shake/smoothie/oatmeal/cereal

Protein powder or ready to drink protein drinks! I love Pirq drinks, personally. They’re plant based and taste amazing.

I always try to incorporate protein whenever I’m feel my sweet tooth. Kodiak cakes can get you 15 grams per cup. I’m a huge fan of the Eat Me Guilt Free protein brownies. I’ve also switched to Silk’s protein nutmilk with my protein powder

Sounds stupid but sometimes use protein powder as a “coffee creamer”

Get zero sugar beef jerky, it’s nothing but protein. Tilamook brand at Costco isn’t too expensive

My mom is mid-50s and has started having what appear to be mini blackouts. Her face contorts like she is laughing or crying, and she is unresponsive for 5-10 seconds. When we ask her what is wrong, she has no idea what we are talking about and no memory of the event.

Any idea what this might be or how to even begin the diagnostics?

Hi everyone I have been having major energy issues lately. Once it gets dark, the second it gets dark my energy levels just drop and all I want to do is lay on the couch and watch TV, and lately that’s been around 4:30 pm here. Any recommendations on how to get over this slump?

I don’t have a ton of weight to lose but want to depuff and tone my body overall, and I am hoping for some lift and tightness in my face as well. Any stories? Anyone do fasted-ish workouts with just coffee?

I tried it with MCT oil and it just kind of made me feel... oily. Don't really want to give up the cream so it's not black coffee though I know that's not really fasted at that point.

Wondering if anyone had a good approach to this. Was trying to do fasted cardio AM then lift PM.

I want to lose 20 pounds (M 165). I put together a diet that has me at 3500 calorie deficit per week for roughly 1 pound per week loss. On top of this I am going to the gym twice per week for heavy lifting + 10 min cardio. Do you think I will see results with going to the gym twice a week? It’s hard for me to find time to go more often but I want to tone up while also doing my cut. I am going to try to also incorporate yoga twice a week into this. Thanks!
