Depends on the LOB and location
Don’t do it!
Healthcare senior
I’m not in RSM healthcare but I went from midsize to b4 a few months ago and think I can provide a few insights that may help. They’ll ask why you’re moving. Also they may ask you to discuss your experiences. When I interviewed with a partner he only asked me what questions I have for him, so I’d recommend be prepared for that and come with questions to ask partners (I asked about his personal career and about the personality of the teams he works with).
I switched to RSM for mid size regional firm as a senior. Questions are pretty standard, basically it seems that they want to figure out if you’re a weirdo or not. There weren’t many technical questions, basically why you want to switch, your experience, interests, goals, etc. Good luck!
Agree with RSM2...I came from a regional firm to RSM as a Healthcare senior. It's more of a conversation than straight question answer. What location?
Dallas. How about u?
Minneapolis - good luck!
Tbh i would ask why u would leave BDO for RSM. I am so confused by people leaving midsize and going to another midsize. Are u looking for a different culture or more money? Why not just go to big4?
Why you say that?
Because the big 4 sucks
I have a second interview with just a partner for one hour. I thought it usually is 30 minutes.
Depends on the make up of the team. I had 3-30 minute interviews in one day with different people. There's no consistency between offices.
I had a phone interview with partner and senior manager and they really liked me. They have already started doing my reference check. Now I have an interview with another partner only for one hour.
From my experience, it sounds like the job is yours.
So the partner will discuss the job and offer letter? I thought that comes from the recruitment team.
