I'd recommend going to the partner and documenting the conversation. No good ever comes from involving HR.

@TA1 false. Plenty good comes from HR. Not always, but that's a sweeping generalization that isn't accurate.
EY 3 - everything OP tells HR will be discussed with multiple people inside and outside of HR - a much wider group v. a discussion with just the partner. OP will be tagged with a label by HR, regardless of whether it's warranted. There are only 2 times HR should be addressed- hiring and exit.

Let HR be your last resort. Sometimes it seems they share way too much confidential information when they should not.
I say print it out so you have hard copy proof. Keep it at home so they can't take it from you. Or put soft copies on personal flash drive.

Have you specifically addressed it with your manager? Running to HR will put a black mark on both individuals, regardless if it's warranted. I'd suggest doing everything you can without going to HR
Agree, we need to know, accusing you of what and interrogating you in regards to what? Depending on how you answer that the response will differ significantly.

OP this whole situation seems super weird. If they are bugging you about telling them gossip, can't you just tell them you don't know any and to stop asking? Example - you make me feel uncomfortable when you swear at me. Please stop.
