My technical interview was on 19th Feb and received HR called me on 22nd feb for salary discussion but again on 22nd Feb 2nd HR called to have managerial round which was scheduled on 25th Feb and again got mail to submit CIS form. After submitting form didn't get any call from HR. Its been 8 days. Is i am ghosted?

What if you are promoted and now got to know that you are selected in one of the job opportunities you were trying earlier. Its a perfect opportunity to come out of consulting and you have been waiting for a long time to get it..very challenging profile although compensation could be marginally lower. How is the Variable payout in HCL?. They have offered me 15% Variable, which has 10% performance bonus to be paid annually and 5% engagement bonus to be paid monthly. As per HR there will not be any deduction in engagement bonus if I am in the billable role. Please tell if it is true. Also how much can I expect in performance bonus part of 10%?

I am looking into buying a place in Queens and while a coop is affordable for me, many of them need renovations. I looked up online about renovation costs in nyc and saw that basic renovations started from $100 per sqft. That means if I buy a coop of 600 sqft which may cost around $350k, I’ll need to at least spend $60k to renovate it?! That sounds like a lot to me. Unpopular opinion- I love being a younger female attorney. I use it to my advantage with old school male OCs. I find that I get what I want for me and my clients when I go with the strategy of “help me” rather than the overly aggressive ,”have something to prove” approach I see from my older female attorney mentors. I don’t get any less respect and everyone wins. 🤷🏻♀️

Hi All - I received a verbal offer from a big 4 organization about 11 days ago. I keep being told that they are waiting on final approval before they can give me the written offer. I am stating to get anxious, as I want to give my notice to my current employer and have another offer that expires at the end of this week, which I did share with the recruiter. There are about 6 partners at my firm and while I do work directly with one, there is no way he’s going to listen to my issues. Same with the owner. There is one other partner who I believe would listen but I don’t want to upset my boss by bypassing him.
I work in an old school company that does not allow anyone to work remote except for management if necessary. Ever since the pandemic started, it’s been a regular day reporting to work and sitting in the office all day. SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Guess I’m not really looking for a solution here, just venting.
