Anyone looking for a job or know someone who is?
Spent 4+ years as CMO of startup company. It was an incredible learning experience but also a very difficult uphill battle trying to steer the owners and the company in the right direction. I’ve just exited the company as of 11/18. The owners expected to storm the marketplace and emerge as a number one brand at only 6 years old without putting in the work.Company had a very hard time understanding the concept of a unique value proposition. Hoping to find a new remote (full time) position ASAP
Tech Mahindra Hey guys, I attempted Hackathon by tech Mahindra (for jr java developer 1-3 yr exp). After 3 days I received a call from hr confirming that I have been shortlisted and took hr round on that call. Later I received a document verification mail asking for all essential docs which are required for joining, but didn't received any offer letter yet. When I cross checked mail address with my friend in tech Mahindra, he confirmed that such hr exists with same e-mail id. Is it normal in tech Mahindra?

No “young punk” in this industry is dealing with HNW clients unless he is teamed with someone that is actually bringing them in. Wish him luck and go about your business knowing you are helping real people. It’s like when I meet a 28 y/o that thinks they know everything about this industry because they have a CFP...
Like water off a ducks back. Honestly, do you really care and, if so, why? Good for you to have a nice practice you built, take pride in that.
Well I hate to burst everyone’s bubble here but I’m 26 and work for a firm whose account minimum is $10mm... so it is possible that this guy landed a great gig like I did but I don’t walk around like I’m better than anyone either. Don’t let it bother you
"You mean your daddy only brings in HNW clients??... Good for him!"
Managing partner 1 is on point here. Seriously, reread it. Think. Then move on.
I’d say, “keep it up bro, you’re killing it.” Smile and remain happy in your pursuit.
The middle income need advisors too! Keep up the great work.
Young punk has never lived through a 2008, 2000 or 1992. His time is coming... Building a practice brick by brick, while frustrating at times is the most redeeming. Keep going.
So he's not after your clients, right?
That’s great. Isn’t it wonderful that this career allows us to pursue whatever market we want. I see every person as worthy of good advice. That makes me happy.
And why do you care? I worked for FA that promised me partnership...hired his family member. Family inherited book but I built my own book. There is something to be said about that. I appreciate my clients, pay extra attention to detail, etc. How is ex FA...family running business to ground. I though I’d be happy but instead feel nothing. I am busy focusing on my own practice. Focus on you!!!
Tell him to sod off
Shine him on... who cares
