I have a mom with three small kids who can't keep her apartment clean. I get it - she has her hands full and has been through a lot, so she isn't able to pay for help or even rely on anyone in her immediate family for help. Would it be crazy for me to use part of the budget to hire someone to help her periodically? (Am I even allowed to do that?) We pay to have apartments cleaned all the time, and I just really want to do something to help her out.

Do you mean your biological mom? Of course, I'm sure she'll be happy to receive help from you. But it would be better if you find some time to sit down and talk to her about this matter.

What do you mean by part of the budget? Budget for what? If you are referring to the household budget then I think it's okay.

You need to make sure that using a part of the budget is allowed to be used for that specific purpose. Otherwise you will be in trouble for doing so.

It's not crazy to want to help your mom out, especially if she's going through a tough time. Hiring someone to clean her apartment periodically could be a big help for her. You may even be able to find someone who is willing to do it for a reduced rate or for free.

No, it's not crazy for you to use part of the budget to hire someone to help your mom periodically. You're allowed to do that if you want to and it would probably be a big help for her. It can be tough trying to keep an apartment clean with small kids around, so hiring some extra help would definitely take some stress off of her plate.

If you want to help your mom out and can afford to do so, hiring someone to clean her apartment periodically could be a great solution. You would just need to make sure that she is comfortable with the arrangement and okay with spending budgeted money in this way.

It would probably be a huge relief for her. If you're allowed to do that, then go ahead and give it a try - she may really appreciate the gesture.

Sure, it would be expensive to hire help for her, but if you think about how much money is spent on having apartments cleaned all the time - it doesn't seem so bad. And if you're allowed to do that, then go ahead!

No, it wouldn't be crazy at all! I think it's really generous of you to even consider it. It would be a great way to show your appreciation for her hard work and give her some much needed support. I've been in a similar situation before, and I know how much a little bit of help can mean.

It's very generous of you to think of her, and I'm sure she'd be grateful for the additional help in her home. I've done this before and it was so nice to see the relief it brought to the family.

I've done something similar before and it really made a difference to the mom's life. Plus, it's a great way to show her you care and are there to support her. Good luck!

This idea does not bother me in the least. Actually, it's a fantastic idea. Don't be afraid to assist her, raising three children is a difficult task. If you can assist her, it will be extremely beneficial.

I think my tiredness is cause by a mix of low hemoglobin, methotrexate, and surgery. Any advice on how to get my energy back would be appreciated.

3 tips I always give to first-time home sellers that make my work easier:

1. Try professional photos. You have one chance to impress possible buyers. Use it wisely.
2. Be flexible with home showings. Maybe your possible buyers won't appreciate your house's potential if there are dogs running around or too many people inside.
3. Respond promptly to a purchase offer. Some people don't have much time to wait for an answer. Be quick and responsive!
