I have a non CS related bachelors degree but 7+ years of development experience. I have heard to qualify for TN Visa in the US for a SWE job you need a bachelors degree in a related field. Anyone have experience getting around this?

Visa sponsorship is needed. I foresee a possible negotiation on compensation from Deloitte.

Not sure of the estimate yet but I understand it would be 55-60k as per other fishes . Should I settle for a lower comp while employer pays one time sponsorship & migration costs or bear the migration costs self and chase a good salary . Which is better ?

I left the hospital system I worked at for 18 years in April. One of the RNs I used to work with got me in. The job is less stressful but I feel like I’m not using any sort of skill in my role. I can’t imagine staying until retirement, the work can get repetitive and boring and I just know I can’t do it forever.
