Thoughts on the Glashutte Original 70s (below), and GO in general? Since I was a kid, I loved the look of the Patek Nautilus and AP Royal Oak, but the prices are prohibitive. The 70s from GO, meanwhile, is visually stunning with an original look that at the same time shares in the aesthetic I’ve admired from AP and Patek, is beautifully finished, and can be bought for $7400 immediately from a grey dealer. My one hang up is that $7400 is a lot for something not from Rolex or the Holy Trinity.
Just had my first near fainting experience while boarding my flight. Pretty embarrassing to have to sit on the ground to avoid a hard fall. How do you moms cope with travel and dizziness/nausea?
Just got back from business trip and feel like making cartwheels of joy at the sight of my SO ❤️
Looking for junior and mid-level associates to join our growing government contracts group in DC. V25 firm and a Chambers Band 1 group. No major turnover issues; we are just very busy and looking to fill out our junior ranks. This is a great opportunity to jump to BigLaw from a small or mid-size firm, after clerking, or from government. General litigation backgrounds with an interest in government contracts also on the table. Happy to discuss details via DM!
Any tips on giving notice? Timings, people to speak to, things to remember etc. All help appreciated :)
Is anyone else getting out at the end of June? So happy for all of you that are out already, please send me the strength to get through the next couple of weeks!! LOL
I applied to 7 schools (M7s and T15s) in Round 2 of this year and didn’t get into any (6 yoe, 314 GRE). But I just found out that I got into Oxford. I know ppl here don’t like Oxford much but I’m pretty torn on what to do - retake the GRE and reapply to American schools in R1 and then ultimately start school in fall 2023 OR enroll at Oxford and be finished with my mba by sept 2023. Any advice is helpful. Thanks!
