I have a Raymond Weil Freelancer automatic that I keep on a Wolf watch winder, but 2-3 days after wearing it and keeping on the winder it always dies. Is that normal, or am I doing something wrong?

Hi! I’m running a startup after work for this neat web app idea for the last year and although we’re still building it, I feel like I’ve learned and directly applied the product management role. And I love it! My question is: should I list this as experience in my resume? I want to do this full time at a real tech company to get more experience just not sure if it would be helpful to get noticed. Currently F100 internal consulting for five years.

A second door last night since Mrs. PS and I were behind by a day. This one was quite a surprise, as I never though of Glendfiddich being peated. Their mainline bottling is not, but this definitely is, though nowhere near as smokey as an Islay. I didn’t pick up on as much sweetness as I would have expected from a rum cask. Overall this one felt a bit jumbled, with several contradictory things going on. I liked exploring it and would consider a bottle at the right price.

What’s on your wrist today? After 8 days of salt in the Galapagos the swordfish’s patina is coming along nicely. A little bit of green on the bezel playing off the teal dial. Artem strap is working out great btw. Can’t comment on cheaper sailcloth straps, but these are great.

Searched the bowl and could not find a direct comparison. I have the opportunity to purchase a) Santos de Cartier Medium or b) Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36. Both white dials and SS. Tried them both on and am leaning towards Santos because it stood out a bit to me. Thoughts? FWIW, I only own a “mall brand” dress watch on a leather strap and am looking to upgrade.
