What's the average hike% in Deloitte India?
Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.
Hi Sharks, I had an interview with Tata Consultancy today and cleared the TAG round by answering all their questions. So here my query is, based on my performance will they offer me a hike of 100% or more from my CCTC, because this role is too relevant to my domain and technical knowledge so that I don't wanna miss out on this.
CCTC - 6LPA
YOE - 5

I was at a really cool high profile company in a role I loved. My boss constantly gaslit me and it was physically and mentally draining. I left after 2 years because I couldn’t take it anymore. Depends on what you mean by “bad boss” but it my case it was not even a little worth it
Thank you all. I can’t say I have direct knowledge that this person will be a “bad boss” it’s more speculative based on the current situation.
This supervisor is only one of three people I would report to and the most junior of them all, so I think I can effectively manage tension.
That said, it’s difficult to make such career defining decision knowing there may be tension from the start… on top of the usual growing pains of moving in-house from private practice.

Having had a bad boss, I say run for the hills. You could be the best fit for the role but a bad boss can really mess you up.
I’d say give it a go. I’ve had two bosses quit within 2 months of me joining. One of those times I joined thinking I’ll be working with a super boss, only for a nightmare new boss to onboard. The other time I ended up quickly reporting to my boss’s boss, effectively getting a half promo within a couple months of joining.
Also, if the company needed to push out your boss for whatever reason, you might be first in line to take the replacement.
A bad boss will make your dream job a nightmare
