He has not been able to replace me since I left in November. He is insisting on his EA being in the office 5 days per week. He's asked for a call with me to discuss what he can do to attract a solid EA. Besides me saying, "Please consider this as a hybrid role," what else can I tell him? I’m starting at M in August as a first year BA and was recruited through campus recruiting (specialized masters). I have 1 YOE at EY-P but went back to school due to immigration issues. Should I have done lateral recruiting instead of campus recruiting? Are experienced hires getting paid higher? If so, is there a way that I can communicate this to HR so I could come in as experienced hire instead? Thank you in advance for the help.
