Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

You have every right to reschedule, how can you put your best foot forward and shine in an interview if you are sick and it is painful to talk?! Also, when you do reschedule, you don't need to explain pr try to justify why to the recruiter or your interviewers - if they were sick and had a conflict, they without a doubt and any guilt would have rescheduled last minute.
Even if the recruiter was annoyed, it was unprofessional of them to act as if they were. Yes, scheduling interviews is the bane of a recruiters existence but it's part of our job. It's probably coupled with that so many people who "push" an interview only to then withdraw that it makes them uneasy.
Don't let this affect your view of the company, as others stated, we are held to specific hire and time to fill goals that shouldn't be a representation of the company as a whole, and this recruiter may be a third party or contractor who doesn't represent the culture well.
It is a red flag. Recruiters make money out of candidates they position within a company. Don't let them feel guilty. You have to think for yourself. Also, don't judge a company by a recruiter; sometimes they are external to a company and want a commission.
Do not feel in the wrong for this. Take care of yourself. The recruiter should be understanding, but unfortunately this is just the nature of the industry when there isn’t trust between recruiter and candidate. For every time something like this occurs, there is another time when a candidate may ghost an opportunity with no response.
It doesn’t give the recruiter any excuses. It just means the recruiter is not being professional and I agree with the above, it shouldn’t take away from the opportunity itself.
It is a red flag unfortunately for a last-minute cancellation but there is nothing you can do, you got sick and people have to understand that. Its not your fault, its not their fault. So hopefully you can reschedule and move on from there. Hope you feel better soon.
Shit happens, tho any last minute cancellation is hard to manage so idk if it’s a red flag that they’re annoyed. I’m assuming you explained that you are unable to speak
I agree with the comments above. It does seem like a bit of a red flag. But at the end fo the day you have to do what is best for you and if you are sick, I don't blame you for wanting to reschedule.
It's a red flag indeed. Don't feel too bad about something that couldn't be helped. Let's hope the company's culture doesn't mirror that of the recruiter.
