I have about 3 years of legal operations experience and more than 8 years of contracts experience in the utility industry. I am looking for legal operations positions and have not found many. Any advice? what other job titles I should be searching for? Thanks in advance!

Looking to change my career a little- I've been in Investment Management Ops for years now but I am craving a change, thinking of staying in finance but wanting a role that is more data analysis oriented where you work on solving issues vs working on daily repetitive tasks. Is it ok to not like work? I really just want a job that pays a reasonable salary where I can do a decent job (I do a good job and work hard), so I can pay rent and live my life. I don’t have ambitions to climb up a corporate ladder and I’m not passionate about PMing. Somehow, employers want people to sing and dance and be hungry to climb, even though most don’t really want to promote anyway. Just feeling a bit alone in this.

Is the CPA designation worth it? For me it would take me 1 year of PREP courses and 2 years of PEP until i can write the CFE. And I am 27 years old right now. Also wondering if it would be crazy to pursue the CPA while learning how to code to be a developer as well?

I have got an offer from Accenture for Level8. I was 60% matching for the profile and got selected through saying there no project currently for this role, we are taking in advance. I doubt if they would send me out after project allocation done saying profile not matching. Want to know is there job security in Accenture provided I can learn and upskill the remaining 40% in 3 months time.

I am in the final steps of the interview process for an in-house position. I mentioned to the recruiter that I had unvested equity I would be leaving on the table. She said the company would take this into account and make me whole. She later asked for proof of the equity in the form of my account statement and balance, which I provided. I have not yet received an offer. Is it typical for companies to ask for this documentation if they don't intend to make the candidate an offer?
