I have always been stumped when asked "what systems/programs have you worked"? Please don't laugh at me, but I never know how to answer that question. Suggestions?

I would simply start with “I’ve worked with a range of diverse programs and systems. To list a few I’ve used XYZ in different capacities - and explain what your role and experience with those have been” if at any point you need time you can start with “thank you for the question or even ask them to repeat it” it will buy you 30 seconds to quickly recompose

Follow up with “what are the systems and programs you need this person to have experience in? What programs does the company use? Always say you are open to learn or educate yourself prior if needed- shows your enthusiasm to learn” turn the challenge to an opportunity to learn

If you bill medical and dental i would assume they mean which EMR or clearing houses you have worked with in the past

Most of the JDs have information on what systems they're looking for.. if not based on the role start with how your typical day looks

Can I ask the headhunter I’m working with to introduce me to a fund that I’m interested in even if he didn’t bring them up initially?

For example, there’s a new fund that recently formed and I see that the HH is connected with the team on LinkedIn. They’re actively hiring associates.

Can I say, “hey, saw that you’re connected with this fund. I’d love an intro”

When you think it's the final, but it's not the final😂

I was wondering if anyone has gone through this process. I recently did the interviews which were system design, mobile ide, programming, and behavioral. I did well on the system design, i think i aced the programming one but i believe i bombed the mobile ide interview (task was writing a simple app in an hour and i barely got halfway theough).
Would this mean i would definitely not get the offer? I have to wait till next week for feedback and im goin crazy!

How do you tiptoe around discussing your previous job in an interview if it was really bad. I worked for a place for about 3.5 months that was unethical, doing illegal things, treating me like crap and ultimately forcing my hand until I had to quit. But since many ask about most recent employment, what’s the best way to address why I was there for such a short period.

Just got a Deloitte HireVue invite (manager level). I haven’t done anything like a HireVue before, what should I wear for the video piece? What kind of video/written questions should I expect?

Hi all, anyone want to share their tips on how to answer the question about your salary expectations? I used to give a range but wondering if there is a better way of answering that while not giving any number directly.

I have been applying for jobs for exactly one month, prolly sending over 15 applications a day, with or without referrals, not a single lead, not a single interview, not a single follow-up from any recruiter. My profile is prolly not as competitive as I thought it was, given that I moved from a foreign country to the US, but I do have some good experience and I graduated from the one of the best unis in the US. What am I doing wrong? Help!

Almost landed a job that would have tripled my salary after 8 months of looking.

They went with someone with more experience but they said they loved me and it was super close...

Post interview follow-ups: what is an appropriate/recommended cadence for doing so?

Interviewed for 2 jobs I am highly interested in. One offered the job already, but the other one hasn’t made a decision yet but should this week. I have until tomorrow to accept the offer but would like to work for the other company if the compensation package is better. Any advice? I don’t want to accept and then have to cancel, but there’s no guarantee the other job will hire me either. 😩
