How should I proceed with this.

I been at my job for three year now, for a while now I been applying for other positions within my job because I want to leave my department. I don’t feel value and appreciated. They would rather hired a new manager than promote within. I have had interviewed in the past and recently but I am told to wait in HR for the final step but never heard from there whether they approved my transfer or not. Plus I am beginning to think my manager holding me back from transferring.

Any Salesforce AEs here? Applying/looking, and curious if there is a “preferred” business unit to sell to? They are obviously different industry sectors, just curious WLB/happiness levels and salary differences

Hello all. My experience in healthcare is pretty niche, almost exclusively in Neurodiagnostics and surgical neurophysiology but I am trying (desperately) to transition out as the burnout is incredible. I have a masters in healthcare management but not much experience. I’ve only had 2 interviews in 2 years but I’m told that I’ve been applying for jobs I’m overqualified for so that’s why. Perspective. I’m retiring from the service and I’ve positioned myself decently to be competitive. I have a graduate degree pursuing a doctorate, LSSBB, ScrumMaster, SPHR, and PMI-ACP. I’ve been offered two positions that are great and on the human capital team. For someone in this situation where should I be looking as commensurate with my certifications and experience?

I have a difficult time caring about what the business/company is doing big picture or advancing within the company. Just give me the contracts/matters you want me handle. Anyone else? Is this necessarily a bad thing?…don’t want to be married to my job.

Anyone else hit a point where you were ready to leave the HR world too? I did… I acted. Sooo glad. I feel relief, freedom, excitement again! Resigned from an upper level mgmt role last month. Burned out, miss being independent and tired of the HR industry stigma and lack of appreciation at my company.
