Ask A Legal Recruiter

I have an excellent resume as a corporate attorney, have great references and experience, am a likeable person but am in the process of being laid off due to COVID. What are my prospects of finding a job once the firm cuts me loose? Any tips for how to best position myself? I am very flexible about what type of job I will take and salary. My only hard no is working long hours at a sweatshop.

Interesting?!?

Depends on what geographic market, but if you have an excellent resume, I’d say your prospects are good. We have been seeing quite a lot of corporate opportunities in CA and TX.
