I have an HSA with Cigna/HSA bank to which my employer contributes $1000/year and I plan to contribute $3000/year. I’d like to make that money grow. The investment options shown are: TD Ameritrade trade and DEVENIR. Which one of the two should I pick? If I “move” the money to the investment account with TD or DEVENIR, 1 does the money grow tax free? and 2 can I still use that amount to pay my health expenses or are they “locked” in?

1. Contributions are tax deductible 2. The money grows tax free 3. Withdrawals for medical expenses are tax free, you can withdraw anytime without penalty for med expenses.

Do you file singe? If so, you can only contribute $3,600 total, not the $4,000 you’re proposing

Married jointly

1 yes 2 yes, but you have to transfer cash back from TDA to hsa bank to spend it or get reimbursed.

Bit of a unique situation. I think my offices FDD team is falling apart. Since covid, 1/1 partner resigned , 2/3 of SM quit, 2/2 managers quit. I’m a bit concerned with deal flow moving forward. What would you do in this situation? Should I try to jump to another firm? Maybe ask for a raise? Honestly I am getting pretty crispy mental health wise

Life insurance: do I need it? Not married (live with LT boyfriend - renting), own 2 investment properties, no kids, early 30s, in Canada. No “dependents”, and my family could pay for final expenses. I’m healthy and insurance is cheap. Should I just get it? Any extra $ if I pass suddenly could go to younger sibling/ family / charity, or to pay off mortgages. What am I missing?

I had an eye appointment in June due to an issue with my eyes. When I called to make the appointment, they told me they would bill xx code, and insurance will cover a certain amount and I will have to cover $100. I confirmed with my insurance before the appointment. After the appointment, I received a bill with the incorrect code billed (similar code description), and I have to pay $180. I went to a different doctor in August because I still had the eye issue, and they billed the correct code..

How's Edelman NY? Getting hit up for Health which I've never done. It'll entail moving from advertising to PR/earned creative as they call it, and the Health category. Didn't sound like hard sell pharma, quite a bit of branded video content. I searched on FB, sounded mostly negative culturally (employee fired during Pride month, political, creatives better watch their backs, climate denier) with a few who love it. Figured I'll ask if anything's changed, if it's even worth ... considering.
