Which agencies in NYC still give bonuses?
Hey Folks. I hope I am posting in the right space about this. Anyone knows the updated(2022) compensation range for QA Automation Engineers with 2 years experience?
A general range at Glassdoor has an average base pay at 110K/year shorturl.at/dhuIZ and I am looking for more sources. Cheers

Every interview I create a Google doc and copy the job responsibilities onto it. Then i go through each bullet point and try to type out examples of my experience of what they are looking for so i can have it handy. I also try to ask the person conducting the interview what they hope this role accomplishes. What sort of things they would like this role to help alleviate. This helps me gain insight on what they are truly looking for and i make sure i type it in my Google doc. I also try to look at their LinkedIn and see what it’s like to work at the company. See if any employees have shared any insights etc. At the end i also try to ask if you had a magic wand what would be something that you could fix? This is a good question to gain some insight on how they are as a company
Lean into the camera (take up space), sell yourself, research the company - position - and Core Values. The interview is virtual so you can take advantage of that and have notes on another screen. Have examples prepared that showcase your problem solving, time management, and decision making skills. Have relevant examples that directly correlate to the position that showcase you are the right fit for the role. Don’t forget to have questions prepared about the company culture, and how is success measured in the position, etc.
Best wishes to you!!
These are great tips!
Take a quick review before the interview starts. Then try to relax, take deep breaths, and be confident. Your answers will naturally come out. Best of luck!
Good luck!!
Don’t forget follow up—great way to remind about your best fit qualities, and to stay top of mind.
Good luck! You've got this!
As I always say when these types of questions come up. Practice, practice, practice. Do it in front of a mirror, do it with a friend. It's going to get easier when you finally get the chance to tell them about yourself and you sound natural. Good luck! You can do it
At the end of the interview ask if they feel you missed any "boxes" they were looking to fill. Make sure you have examples to prove your value and quell any concern
Be confident. Make sure you came in ready. Read about possible interview questions for the specific role you are applying for. You can find it in the web together with the suggested answers. Good luck!
