I'm a S3 who is highly likely to be promoted to manager this summer - that alone will keep me in public accounting for a while.
I turned down an interview opportunity in industry that had a 20% pay increase last week. Should I be regretting my decision? The one what if in my mind is "What if I'm not promoted to manager ". Then I turned down an interview with a better salary for nothing. But feedback at my current firm indicates I'll be a manager, I know nothing is guaranteed though. Thoughts?
Has anyone here gone through corporate development recruiting? If so, would you be able to share interview case prep materials?
PSA: reminder to schedule a day or two off in the upcoming weeks for a 4 day weekend (heck maybe even an entire week). It can do wonders for alleviating stress. Today I’ve gotten my oil changed, taken my dog to the vet, cleaned up my unibrow & have a facial scheduled. The rest of my day will be applying to jobs. I’ve only checked my email once and it feels so ridiculously good not to be tied to a laptop Monday morning. Take that time off ladies!
My EY SaT strategy team interview happened last week Monday. It's been more than 8 working days and in total 10 days and i didn't hear back from them. I called HR but they're not picking. Should I consider this as "rejected" and move on?
What is etiquette these days on sending a thank you email after the interview? Spoke with a senior director about a director role that I’m luke warm about but would report to him if I accepted the offer.

We’re always seeing questions regarding rank and pay at their respective firm, so why not make a thread?
Drop your 1) firm, 2) rank in FDD, 3) salary and expected bonus if any, and 4) region.
