I have an interview with GEP Consulting tomorrow. Anyone worked/works there or has interviewed there? Looking for some pointers.

Had a couple people on my team leave to go there because they poached a client we were losing and they also wanted to jump. I also was in talks with HR about a possibility of joining but opted not to continue because growth opportunities seemed questionable because they were expanding practice offerings so everything was fluid. They did try to sell the fact that even though I would be onboarding to continue working on this client as well that there would be further exposure to a variety of projects. But that doesn’t really mean much I guess. Colleagues just started there so unfortunately have no insight beyond that.

Procurement Strategy? What role/level? I did a couple of interviews with GEP and ultimately chose another firm- Both of my interviews were phone only and not overly difficult.

Yea I know what you mean. GEP is definitely a less well-known name worldwide though, which is throwing me off. But we'll see; if the pay is good enough I might have a hard time saying no.

I have been an adjuster for almost 5 years, although I have loved almost all of my time adjusting and find it fun, in a sense, I am so ready to take my skills into underwriting. Does anyone have any tips for transitioning from adjusting to underwriting? I know this will sound cliche but I find myself to be very passionate about insurance and I do well when interviewed, but it is difficult to get a response for underwriting applications because they all “require” underwriting experience.

Hello. I’ve recently scheduled an interview for a position as an Assistant US Attorney. I am trying to 1) prep for interview and 2) determine if this would be a good move. I am currently staff counsel for an insurance company and the job is pretty cush. If anyone has any tips or feedback, I would greatly appreciate it.

Can I get two offers from two different departments of the same company ? 1 offer is under Background verification process from department1. and other department is initiating 1st tech interview. Should I tell the department 2 about offer 1?

How reliable is the Gartner Career site where you can see the status of an application? 2 weeks after an interview, and I haven’t heard anything but the status still says In Process.

Anyone have any advice or insight on interviewing for a GS General Attorney position? I’m really excited and working to prepare for an interview I’ve been offered. It’s 3 part, on one day. 2 one on one interviews and a panel interview. For reference, it’s a position in an agency that’s involved in both trade and national security. I’m a litigation junior associate in private practice now, but have a long academic background in international trade, policy, and security.

Hi, I recently received a job offer of 100k that said their base cap was 95k, should I or can I counteroffer, if so to what would be reasonable? And I've been interviewing with other companies as well and this company isn't my first choice. Can I accept/counter the offer as I see if the companies (of choice) will give me an offer?

Hi all, Need help with a resume review referral or another resource (cover letter critique, etc) you've used that helped you get a job. It's been about 6 months now, and any resources y'all have would be greatly appreciated.
