I have an intro call with an Accenture recruiter about a job I was referred to, next week, typical intro calls are 10-15 minutes and on a cell phone, but guess this is on Zoom for 30 mins. How should I dress (tie, button down, suit jacket) and what should I expect in the call?

Button down. No tie or jacket. I did even my final round interviews with the McKinsey partners on zoom in a button down. They were all in polos.

I had my first remote interview post COVID as well last week. I wore a blazer and shirt, no tie. I think it shows you want the job + not too dressed up to be ridiculous

Also, I have interviewed candidates over the past 2 years. Generally people just wear a smart shirt. I only had one candidate wearing a suit and tie
About a year ago, most folks I interviewed were wearing at least a button down, and maybe every other candidate had a jacket.
As time went on, the candidates tended to get a lot more casual.
