Yes... unless you want to start over, get a paycut of $30k, and work with a bunch of 22/23 years old in your start class... not worth it.

I mean depends on what service line you are trying to join. If you are trying to join audit, definitely a large paycut and absolutely not worth it.

Back office support at ey is no better than back office support at Accenture, in terms of advancement. I would stay put, it sounds like you have plenty of flexibility at your current job

What is the public space? Do you mean public accounting? Or public company?

EY1 should have been more specific - I mean public accounting. I’m currently at a public company.

Are you back office support?

EY1 - yes I was thinking about audit. However I’m glad I accidentally got grouped to this fish bowl because it seems most people are overworked and underpaid... I WFH FT and work 40 hrs a week and I’m around $92k in the chi market so not great pay for my years of experience but for my work life balance and no travel it doesn’t seem that bad. Corporate functions just sucks bc advancing is very hard.

Yes back office - I’ve moved around a bit to advance so I’ve seen quite a few difference areas

No that sound horrible!!!

I actually just interviewed with EY and had a really good experience but they wanted the role in the client site for the first 3-4 months then WFh and I just couldn’t commit to that

Yeah wfh in a client service role doesn’t work

The role was still back office support

Thank-you!

Is the better strategy to constantly give baby some breastmilk every day until I run out (like 8-10 ounces a day or something, mixed with his formula) or is it better to just give formula and save the freezer stash for if/when he gets a cold or something, and then mix it in liberally only then)?
