I have an NIE to travel directly to the US that I received from the Paris Embassy valid for 12 months. Is it valid only for travel from Schengen area or is it also valid for travel from other countries like Brazil?

Let’s say you fly cross country for a court hearing… is the plane travel time billable? What’s standard practice? I was working on the case some of that time but not all that time. Obviously do not double bill… but just curious what others standard practice is for billing time consuming travel ? And if so, what part do you bill? Hi do they boot give citations or tow for street parking in midtown/downtown area? It’s the one where you pay at meter and put in license plate. Last few days I’ve been visiting my friend at a hotel in midtown and secured $2 parking per hour cause there are no grocery stores or free parking spots nearby. Hi all! I’m wondering what your thoughts are on HR texting with employees (especially if you support 100+). To me, texting with employees is problematic because it is so easy to misconstrue a text, there’s no set start/end to a “conversation”, and it disrupts boundaries. been in downward spiral since COVID, struggling with being alone, loved the travel, teams. got depressed and angry. Dreaded work. In the process got to drinking 4 up to 15 drinks most days. I have recently signed an offer with a company and they filed my H1-B transfer case with USCIS. However, I have just received a better offer that I want to accept with another company. Can I still sign the new offer and tell the first company to “drop” the filing?

Hi all... received medical RFE for my AOS (EB1C India non concurrent filing in December, 140 approved in May, FP complete in April 2021)
They have given an envelope but the medical records cannot fit inside. Any advice on how to handle this ? Should I just tape or Clio the envelope with the sealed envelope ?
