Quick, guess which NYC agency this is?!
How is Tredence Analytics for ETL Tester? Yoe-6
Is your offer assignable to me?
*Instantly Googles “non FAANG companies that are hiring”*
You are over thinking it. Definitely do your due diligence on wlb, but it’s not tied to comp.

FAANG level comp isn’t actually limited to FAANG. Plenty of other growth/unicorn places where that comp sounds right. I’ve interviewed at some and I consider “growth mindset” to be a big red flag meaning no WLB.
This was my TC with 4 YOE and WLB was (and still is) great. I don’t work in FAANG.
Howd you stumble upon this offer?

That's a super high offer for yoe

This is not a post to go along with others, I am with you OP, this is a red flag but we don’t know exactly why. You have the offer now ask clear questions on WLB, general expectations and work environment. Could be a high revolving door, could be the manager has no people skills and is hard to work for, could be intense pressure (even if the hours are less) or could be the hours. It is less likely that they’d throw that much comp if not to make up for something. I’ve been burned before for not doing the right diligence and regretted it later. Will never do that again and sharing the knowledge so you don’t either. Good luck.
Is this a remote role?
It’s a hybrid role
That is way over market for 4 YOE. Did you ask about WLB in the interviews?
Practice area? I ask because it might explain why it's over market.

Depends on the makeup of base + other comp, but not an outrageous offer in this market.
Yes, this is a great offer but not necessarily tied to wlb. I would do some post-offer due diligence and ask some tough questions.
It's the Mafia. Great pay, but retirement can be rough.
