I work for a company with a pretty generous PTO policy and a mostly remote flex policy (4 days a month in office if within 75 miles of the building). One thing I’m wondering if there is a way to help us I get the “I’m taking a mental health day” call out regularly which causes a strain on the rest of the team because we were unable to prepare like we would with pre-planned PTO. Any ideas of things I can do as a manager to encourage pre-planned PTO instead of these call outs?

I am looking to get a new car just because I was given my current car and it is not something I would have picked myself. I used to have a Honda element and I loved that everything was plastic and it was a simple car. I also loved the boxy design of it. I really want a jeep wrangler because right now, I only have one child (age 6). I want to get one now before I decide to have more kids which won't be for many years if I do.
