I have an opportunity to be a Food and Beverage manager for a hotel I have been for 6 years. Currently I am overseeing all operations but want to focus more on the F&B world. Would anyone know how much salary I should be asking for this role?

At least in Texas, it seems like the salary can range anywhere between 60K to 100K depending on the hotel. Where would you be located?

This will be in Virginia. I hear taxes are pretty big there though. Thanks for the information.

Federal Register confirms 2023’s 8.7% COL increase. Associate at Ogletree and my expected 2023 base salary will NOT reflect a full 8.7% increase from my 2022 salary. So I’ll effectively accept a pay cut IF I stay with OD in 2023. Also seems to mean my added yr of seniority/experience is effectively not accounted for in 2023’s salary. Is this a universal experience across comparable firms or are other firms doing across-the-board increases in light of 2023’s 8.7% COL jump? Am I overthinking this?

My husband has an opportunity near Boston that would make us relocate from the Midwest. My current employer is flexible and has given me the ok that I can permanently work from home. Note: hubby is negotiating assuming I won't get a raise and I don't want to change jobs if I don't have to.
