I have an undergrad degree in mass communications with a focus in advertising. Almost 10 years of experience. Looking for more formal business and marketing education but don’t have time or money for a full MBA. What are everyone’s thoughts on Mini MBA programs? Worth It? Why or why not?

Got interviews at Wharton, Booth, HBS, SOM. So I’m not totally dejected but this rejection makes me wonder about my true chances at other schools.

MBB offices for tech cases, low COL?
Currently working in tech, leaving for MBA ideally followed by MBB. Thinking ahead because of pre MBA events and long term partner. Paying sticker for MBA with loans, partner in school for 2-3 years after MBA. Which offices should I consider to build quick NW/pay off debt, build strong network in tech in/outside the firm, provide QOL similar to my unconstrained choices (LA or NYC)?

Does anyone have any thought on JD/MBA programs? I really like Kellogg’s shorter 3 year program vs a full four at HBS or some of the other schools but wanted to see if anyone else was in the same boat.

My undergrad degree is in gov but I currently working on consulting for PE right now, with dream goal to end up in VC or PE post-MBA. Practice tests have gone well for both GRE & LSAT but lower GPA from a public Ivy, so not sure what’s feasible.

Currently going to school for my cannabis certification but I rarely see any jobs that offer cannabis research. I currently work in a lab/greenhouse environment and would love to continue that line of work with hemp/cannabis. Yet again no luck whatsoever, just finding jobs as budtenders or running a dispensary. Does anyone know where I can find research-based cannabis jobs? I have a degree in horticulture with lab experience.

7th year of H1b and have I140 PD in June 2020 (Chinese)... getting tired of my current job and want to do a MBA then switch career. Is it still possible? Would I be able to extend my H1b after I graduate say two years later for a new employer, even if the job has completely changed - say from business consultant to a tech manager? Can I still retain my PD if filing for a new Perm?

I am confused whether to do MS Or MBA in USA?
My long term goal is to reach a leadership position probably CEO level but I love tech as well.
Unfortunately I don't see MS helping me reach that position.

I was very successful as an internaional sales exec at a startup for 15 years before we were bought by a large publicly traded company. The culture shift was dramatic, as was the way that I was expected to work. I was laid off a tortuous 3 years after the buyout.

While I was in some ways relieved (put me out of my misery!) I spiralled pretty hard and after a while started working PT jobs, gig type stuff, etc. while I figured things out, and healed from burnout.
