I graduated in industrial design in December 2020 and i started studying UX/UI immediately after
I got my first job in a start up as UX/UI in May 2021. I'm now trying to join the videogame industry so bad, I'm having interviews with the top companies in the field, doing the assessment, passing many of the recruitment steps.
In the end they always tell me that they decided to move on with another candidate with more experience.

It feels like it's impossible for a Junior to join this industry ☹️

I got offer from persistent systems and LTI.
Persistent offered 31.4LPA including 10% variable which 100% payable.
LTI offered 28FIXED with 1.5 joining bonus.
Now my concern is regarding salary brkup in persistent.
They are giving me 50k as basic salary and added most of the ctc part in special skill bouns.
In current org with 19.5lpa have 64basic salary.
I was planning to join persistent but now I am getting confused what to do?
Please help me out.

New job opportunity for my wife in LA. We would make ~$380k together. It would be a big raise for her and it could be more with her RSUs and our bonuses. We moved to the OC from Atlanta and don’t know much about LA. We don’t have debt, are working on investing and saving, and have never owned a home.
Is it worth to move to LA for that salary? Where should we look at living? LA seems to large and dangerous to me. We are not ready to buy and would start with renting.

I am currently working in a leading architecture and design firm for almost a year now. I have 3 years of experience. When I started in this firm I was told that they will reconsider my position in sometime. I recently asked HR regarding salary review, but he denied and said they are not considering anymore salary this year and next salary considerations would be in Q1 of next year(6 more months).
