WLB has been nothing short of great! Seems that this is a case where negative reviews seem to be spreading faster than the positive. Could be that candidates didn't get the job after going through the lengthy interview process. Overall, I am quite happy

That’s a relief to hear. Thank you! Seems like the questions asked were repetitive too across different teams, would you be open to sharing any interview advice? :) this is for a marketing position as well

Interesting, seems like Grammarly’s employee reviews are actually overwhelmingly positive, don’t think I’ve ever seen a 4.9 rating before on a company haha so clearly the employees are big fans! I think interview experiences might be somewhat biased in the sense that those who don’t get the job are more likely to leave disgruntled reviews. I would just ignore what others have said and formulate your own individual opinions, but hopefully their 4.9 rating gives you some reassurance! Their employees are clearly happy 🙂

I wouldn't put TOO much stock in Glassdoor - I think it's good as a frame of reference, but it can vary. I used to work at a company that was rated pretty low, but HR got employees to flood with positive reviews etc. I think generally sites like that attract opposite ends of the spectrum - people who LOVE the place or people who HATE the place so it's hard to gauge. I would just go with your instincts, and hope for the best

Makes sense - thank you for your feedback, hoping for the best! :)

Had an initial phone screening/interview with my dream firm. I’m not sure how it went. There were some good, some bad (or at least I think) parts. I was referred by a partner and this is my first time phone screening and was expecting a lot more questions. I was asked a couple “tell me about” questions and then went into salary expectations and open to relocating. How much weight do they put into the phone screen and is it normal to wonder how they went?

I have an offer from One great company that I need to reply to by end of the week and Google had reached out to me after two months of radio silence wanting to move me forward to the last interview round. The offer I got was for a product design position while google wants to potentially hire me as a visual designer… what do I do??? I’m so stressed. I don’t know if I should just accept the offer and then jump ship if Google decides to hire me.

I have a but of a situation. Just started a job as a Sr associate and found out a program manager was hired a month earlier who has equivalent exp/education as me.
