I have an upcoming interview with Grammarly and looked at every single interview review they had on Glassdoor. There were only several positive experiences compared to a large amount of negative interview experiences. What’s your experience like and do you recommend working here? What’s the WLB there? I love and enjoy using Grammarly as a product but felt a little discouraged after reading the reviews on Glassdoor.

Reviews were mainly centered on no feedback/response after hw assignments, many

WLB has been nothing short of great! Seems that this is a case where negative reviews seem to be spreading faster than the positive. Could be that candidates didn't get the job after going through the lengthy interview process. Overall, I am quite happy

That’s a relief to hear. Thank you! Seems like the questions asked were repetitive too across different teams, would you be open to sharing any interview advice? :) this is for a marketing position as well

Interesting, seems like Grammarly’s employee reviews are actually overwhelmingly positive, don’t think I’ve ever seen a 4.9 rating before on a company haha so clearly the employees are big fans! I think interview experiences might be somewhat biased in the sense that those who don’t get the job are more likely to leave disgruntled reviews. I would just ignore what others have said and formulate your own individual opinions, but hopefully their 4.9 rating gives you some reassurance! Their employees are clearly happy 🙂

I wouldn't put TOO much stock in Glassdoor - I think it's good as a frame of reference, but it can vary. I used to work at a company that was rated pretty low, but HR got employees to flood with positive reviews etc. I think generally sites like that attract opposite ends of the spectrum - people who LOVE the place or people who HATE the place so it's hard to gauge. I would just go with your instincts, and hope for the best

Makes sense - thank you for your feedback, hoping for the best! :)

I have heard optum is calling employee 3 days a week.

I have just joined optum 3 month before.

I have one offer from barclays wherein either you can go office once in a week or 5 days in a month which gives good flexibility compared to optum.

Barclays offer gives good flexibility also they provide free of cost cab service too and one time meal also in a day.

Would it be fine joining barclays with 35% hike in fixed ctc and plus more flexibility as compared to optum.

What’s up with this trend of hiring managers rejecting developers who don’t have FAANG experience on their resume? People in consulting companies also work for clients who handle high traffic and complex architectures. Also, not everyone wants to work at FAANG companies due to moral issues that these big tech companies ignore and blatantly misuse personal data and privacy.
