Hello Fishes Having around 2.5 Exp as Business Analyst. If anyone could share any openings or referrals that would be great! TIA 🥰
Hi! Currently interviewing at Accenture and was wondering the required utilization/billable hours for their federal practice. (Would probably come in at the “consultant” level). Thanks!
Need some advice FB fam. My wife is getting contacted by PE headhunters for VP deal team roles. She currently leads a small corpdev team at a PE backed company; did strategy consulting for a decade and worked at a few PE shops in a value creation / portfolio management role. She’s never worked in banking or at a PE firm in an investing role. She’s concerned if it’s even worth pursuing the process? What does the recruiting process for a VP level look like? Will she be asked to model etc.? TIA!
I am interviewing for a senior Development position(not in IT) in Dresden, Germany. With 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry domain, what can be an expected salary range for such a position? P.S: Masters degree + 5 years work experience in Germany in similar domain + good German knowledge skills.
I’m in final rounds at a PE MF (probably 1-2 interviews left with partners). Do you have any tips? I passed the modeling test and 5 previous rounds pretty easily but am slightly nervous for these last ones.
Please lemme know if any project opening? I am on bench for over a month now...joined Accenture on 10th dec, level 9, SQL DBA..
The burnout is real. I’ve been a nurse for almost 10 years. Two of the which were in sales. I am likely going back to medical sales. If you’re wondering how you can do that, your first step to leverage your clinical knowledge would be to look for “clinical sales specialist” or similar jobs. Device companies are always looking for nurses but keep in mind you will be traveling a fair amount to get experience and then move to a true sales position (if that’s what you want).
Hey there! I work in a mid-size full service agency with a growing marketing team. We currently don't have a CD due to our size and current client portfolio, but that's a role I'd love to step into when the time is right and my management is on board with that. Any advice on how to prepare for that kind of role without changing agencies? Or anyone open to mentoring me? I'd love to learn from a CD or ACD to see what they're doing and what I can bring without leaving my team!
What’s it like in strategic client success roles at SaaS companies? Looking at a role that seems more focused on customer growth strat with the product more so than retention/customer churn focus
I’m a little over a month in to my new role and feel like I keep choking on external calls I have. Thankfully my manager is on them and can jump in and I’m trying to learn and apply it next time but it’s killing my confidence. I also have this fear that I just don’t have the skills to have these conversations and will get fired. Any tips/thoughts/encouragement?
Saw a post in LinkedIn that Accenture opening it's offices in new places like Ahmedabad, Indore, Jaipur is that true?
If you got hired at the absolute bottom of the payband, I gave my salary expectations which was unknowingly less than my offer a few months back, is it possible to renegotiate a raise to at least the middle of the payband, come the performance review, raises, and bonus meeting, especially given inflation? In addition my firm’s new base payband for my position as an external higher is posted at 31% higher than my current salary.
McK 🐟, what are your thoughts on a solutions role? Analyst and base is 105k. Ideally I want to think about exit ops and would like to just go to tech. Is that actually possible from a solutions path?
Interviewing during busy season - what excuse do I give for being out of office hours at a time?

Hi Bain fish - I am looking to apply to the experienced hire AC role (I understand it’s likely I come in like an undergrad hire) and was wondering if anyone could help with a referral? Would be happy to share my resume and further discuss my background / interests Bain & Company
I had an interview last week for a Jr CW job. All went well it seemed. The CCO’s exact closing words were “You’re gonna have a great career. Your ideas are good”. Additionally, a CD there I contacted on LinkedIn said the CCO liked my book. But he ended by telling me they’re still getting things sorted out and to follow up this week. Don’t know if this is a bad sign I won’t get it or if I’m just being insanely impatient and unrealistic.
I work as a developer in an insurance company, and I've noticed that all my friends at tech companies seem to have much better benefits. Are the differences between non-tech and tech company benefits really that high?
Currently Audit senior 2 looking to transfer to advisory. Exploring some internal advisory roles as well as external roles with mid sized firms - looking for advice on Big 4 advisory vs. with a mid sized firm? Personally I feel like I would get more exposure to different projects/clients at a mid sized firm, where at big 4 would prob be pigeoned holed in a specific niche sector/industry with little flexibility to try other things. TIA

Hello fishes I have joined pwc sdc with ctc of 6lpa. How can i reach to ctc of atleast 18-19 lpa in 3-4 years. I am an mba in finance from tier 2 college.
Current project is very chill and management likes me/gives good reviews but I’m not challenged and do not lead others. I’ve considered switching projects to go up early (SC year2). I am six weeks pregnant, first pregnancy at 33. The other reason I wonder about going up early is that I’m not sure I want to be going up during year3 after being out on maternity leave and life drastically changing. I started my professional career late so feel like I’m playing catch-up too, any advice? Thanks!
Is it considered normal to ask for detailed information on benefits (health plan deductibles, etc.) before you sign an offer?

I only have a 401k but wondering what I need to do, if anything, when it comes to tax season. I was late to the savings game so I have no idea if I need to report anything, pay taxes, etc when I do my yearly taxes.

I’m freelancing at an agency and there’s a chance I’ll have to WFH a few hours over the holidays. Would it be weird/rude to charge x1.5 or x2 my rate cause it’s normally time off?
Does anyone here have tips on negotiating equity as part of an overall compensation package at a well-established but private company with no IPO on immediate horizon? My first time having it as part of the package and trying to find resources to learn more.
Received H1B transfer approval email on October 4th, but haven't received physical copy oh I129 till now. Anybody had similar delays?
I have a low score in quant GRE. My major was Accounting and work experience has been quant heavy. Does it make sense to take HBS CORE (I’ve taken all those classes in UG) or MBA Math/a math class from Berkeley?
