Looks great on the tombstone

"I have arrived" would be a pretty funny tombstone, actually. Thanks for the idea.

The answer was there the whole time.
Wait.... 10 years and still at consultant level? Petition to have this person get promoted! Wtf!

You won't "get rich" on points, nor is that...the point. My points have paid for three weeks in Europe, plus flights. A week in Australia at the great barrier reef, plus flights. A week lakeside in the Adirondacks. Three trips to Vermont to ski. A week and a half in Hawaii. Two weeklong trips to San Diego at top notch properties. Countless random nights on trips all over the place. And I'm still sitting on 800k+ points.
Rich, no. But they let me do a ton that I wouldn't normally be able otherwise.
What benefits come along with this?

My points can never expire and I will never lose my status as platinum. All the points bonuses, etc will always be active even if I don't travel for a while.
What is this for? Hotel chain or Flights? Which one?

Hyatt is by far my favorite. Their points are so damn valuable. It’s a shame they’re not as common as the other brands.
So here, I am. A lifetime hold on Marriott
Honestly, I feel like a little bitch. Respect ✊.
At what cost????!!???

You wouldn't believe the free vacations that all those hotel points have paid for. Did it suck being on the road sometimes, yea a lot. But my points have taken me all over the world dirt cheap

Nice! Suboptimal number of years to be considered a high performer. 😂
I had two years where on was on the road every week, Sunday-Friday. 936 nights but only 8 years as Platinum or Higher. I’m sooo close yet so far away. Luckily, I’ll make it in 2023 as I only need 20 nights per year thanks to the Personal and Business CCs.
My nights count has been over for several years. Now just a waiting game, lol. This makes me miss being on the road.

I miss these posts
Sadness.
Is it just a free waterbottle for all the trouble?
Do these statuses amount to much value? Just looked up titanium elite status benefits and they seem alright
I have titanium elite with same nights. I guess years of it? Also heard they don’t offer it anymore
Rookie in comparison! But excited that I just made it to Lifetime Platinum today :)
Yeah but what's your airline status?
Airline status is too “what did you do for lately.” Living in NYC my airline status has been dependent on client location. Atlanta (hit 360), Chicago (global services), Dallas (concierge key). From time to time I’d have two of those, but usually only one.
Having not flown much recently I have over 2 million miles on each of these and get to sit in the back.
