A friend of mine told me I should have Narcan on hand for my boyfriend who does coke sometimes. I'm firmly against it. He knows I hate when he does it and I don't want the emotional weight of carrying it around in my purse. Like, if he's going to do that, he should carry his own damn Narcan. Am the asshole? She thinks I'm being cruel since it can be lifesaving and you can get it for free.

16 weeks and so worried all of the stress I’m under is going to hurt the baby. Between work, my own scary (non-pregnancy) health stuff, the pandemic, my mom (who is a widow and lives alone, basically isolated by choice due to covid) is having health issues, and pressures to keep billable hours up, I’ve been having complete breakdowns. HSG pain level vs. endometrial biopsy? I have an HSG this week and did biopsy last week. Biopsy was brutal! I overheard a nurse telling someone else that HSG is actually more painful but I can’t even imagine… really nervous now.

My dermatologist prescribed a body tretinoin cream (0.1% cut with about 6 parts vanicream lotion, per her instruction). Been starting slow, using it a 2-3x a week and skin seems to be tolerating it pretty well, with the exception of the skin that rubs together while I sleep (cleavage and neck folds). Is this likely because of the moisture from the sweat in those areas? Anyone else experience this and will it get better as my skin gets used to the retinoid?

My mother was in a collision. Other driver admitted fault. Her vehicle needed and entirely new frame. She lost 9 days of work. She is treating with chiro on lean. She has not spoken to the other drivers insurance at all. Chiro said they will tell me when she is “done” treating. At what point should I reach out to the other insurance’s adjuster?
