I have been an RN for 2 yrs and 6 m now. I started my nursing in the sub acute unit of a hospital, it was ok i didnt mind it. Right away they made me one of 3 charge nurses and I felt the pressure but I was ok. Switched to outpt GI setting and loved it the only thing I didnt like was not being home with my kids since it was mon-Fri because we were short staffed I would do 10 hr days at times. decided to apply for bedside medsurg. constant anxiety attacks now hate being an RN. Im only 3m in.

My facility want us to run Bipap on Med-surg floors. I don't think that is safe. It's one RT in the entire hospital.

Are VA job listings accurate? Asking because other companies’ are not. I applied to one job that said remote but when they called me it was hybrid. The VA job listing says “on-site” but wondering if there is a possibility of being remote.

I’m just over 1 year in a supervisory role. I have a team member who is moving on in her career.
