I’m currently looking for an HR Project Manager or HRBP role. But I’m having such a hard time finding a position. I have about 9 years of experience. I even hired a company to work on my resume and cover letter. What am I doing wrong?

Which is better a “senior consultant” at EY or “Project Manager” at a local large organization?
I’m currently a business analyst and recently k was offered a promotion to Project Manager.
Meanwhile, I got another offer from EY as a Senior Consultant
My current company are willing to match EY offer and they want me to stay.
Part of me wants to join EY as it’s a big name on the resume and I can learn a lot from it BUT another part of me wants the PM and comfort zone in my current job.

I have been in property management for 20 years, primarily managing low income housing. I have worked for 8 companies and have been with my current employer for 6 months. I have left positions in the past when I begin to feel stagnant or when my experience is not valued. My reason for “job hopping” as many would see it isn’t because I lack the skills to do the job but because I put in 1000% and do not feel I am fairly compensated or my hard work is recognized.

I’m one who can handle a lot. However, I’m feeling overwhelmed and drowning with all their expectations. I have 22 reports, handling all by myself. Others who with me have less reports and leads to help. Why do I feel like I’m being set up ugh. Not how I like to think but I’m having to much added to my plate. Anyone in the same boat?

When applying to leadership roles after you have finish school or met the experience requirements about how many rejections did you receive because I feel like I have gotten soooo many and have not landed a job yet. This just doesn’t seem normal.

TLDR: I got declined a job shift by my VP and I’m mad about it.

There’s an open position on my team at 2 levels up. My boss unpromptedly invited me to apply if I was interested, I said I was. He said he would talk to my VP. After a month of asking for updates, he said my VP could not be persuaded and VP thinks I’m doing a great job and doesn’t want me to shift. They’ll give me a promotion at mid years with the same responsibilities.
