Pleadings that have been filed with the court? (Public record). Can you send a redacted version? Do you have anything you can send that’s not necessarily file-specific ie. research memos?
Pleadings are a great idea! I did not consider this. My firm primarily does insurance defense, so we don't really have opportunities to do research memos since clients won't pay for them.
I recently did this - sent pleadings that were public record anyway and in an abundance of caution changed names before sending to “plaintiff” and “defendant.”
