I have been drug free now a little over two weeks. Last night I went out with some friends to party. While I was there someone offered me coke. Walking away was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Hopefully I’ll be strong enough to do it again next time it happens.

Just had a consult at Smilebar. Ortho was ridiculously rude, spoke really fast, dismissed my concerns. Laughed at a few of my questions, rolled eyes at one. Everything was pressure to get me to commit ~$5.8k on the spot during a *15 minute consult*.

I’m 31 yrs old and husband is 33 yrs old. I got married at age 29, we are trying for kids for almost 10 months, has early miscarriage back in June 2020, it was lasted for only 5 weeks. We completed all RE preliminary test, all my tests(ovaries, FSH,AMH, thyroid and some other tests suggested by RE) came normal. My husband semen was tested and RE said his motility and sperm count is low (he don’t drink and smoke, and healthy). Please suggest if I need to go with IUI or IVF. Feeling so depressed 😭

Where to start. Sitting here contemplating life after a sixer and wondering why I keep getting to this place. I make my family scared of me and push my wife and kids farther away while I think everything is ok.I can stop drinking when I need to focus on work, but when things get out of control I just drink it away. Tired of this cycle but unsure where to turn, but I know if I continue down this path it won’t be good. I am a vet and think I have PTSD, but turn to the bottle when needed

I started working for a bank and am going through the background check. They found an arrest which was dismissed and the file was sealed a few days after the check. They’re requesting the police report on top of the court order to seal. The police report is BAD. During the arrest (DUI) they wrote the report to make me seem like a complete lunatic. Embellished on several elements of the case. I am worried that giving them this report will cause me to be let go.

Has anyone done the Lionrock Recovery Program? I just enrolled and wondered if anyone has done it. I was stunned that my insurance basically covers all the costs.

Walked back from the liquor store between calls in tears because I can’t control myself anymore. Am doing an intake meeting with a Intensive Out Patient care provider next week. Will be doing therapy from 5:30p-8:30p like three times a week for two weeks. How do I tell my team that I’ll have hard stops for these sessions? I don’t feel comfortable sharing my alcoholism with them

Ugh was doing so well. Hit 30 days no booze then went out of town for thanksgiving and it’s like I never stopped at all. Back slid immediately right back to pouring the drinks into my yeti by 10am. Yay family. Hoping I can refocus and slide back into sobriety when im back home.
