What is your alternative? If you continue and remain inefficient that will reflect badly too. Make your well being your priority.

Are you at the point of HR being involved ? Or is this a discussion between you and your manager ? If HR is involved you might be better off disclosing the pregnancy because it gives you some legal protections.

Yes I’ve had to send it to HR and my counselling manager is aware too

You need to be honest about why you're leaving with HR and your counselor

I’m not leaving I’m getting my time flexed

It's good you're asking for the accommodations you need. Naps are your friend. You'll be OK. Pregnancy doesn't last forever! You have a WHOLE long career ahead of you 🎉

I never thought being a mom would be this difficult. I am working full time, have an infant who wakes up every 3-4h and doesn't fall back asleep unless held in arms, am breastfeeding for medical reasons, and feel resentful and beyond tired all the time. I hate the fact that my body is so different to how it was before, that I don't have a sense of self any more, that I can't disconnect and take a break (and this is likely to not change for years to come). Is this normal or unfit to be a mom?

How can I stop feeling guilty when I take a day off, even if it's because I'm sick or I have something important to take care of?

I have a toddler and baby. Toddler was always home due to pandemic and started preschool. He brings sickness home every week and we are all sick miserable. Thanksgiving was worst as baby ended up hospitalized and I have zero family support. I am so traumatized and couldn’t bring myself to send older to preschool again with covid fear of my kids.
