I just found out that a man I dated a few years ago died last week and I’m struggling with how to feel about it and how to process it. He did some shitty things to me that kind of messed me up: he ghosted me after love bombing me and I was just so hurt at the time. My two best friends are a tiny bit racist (more that they make racist jokes a lot) and this rubs off on me I hate to say it and I have to train myself to undo whatever has rubbed on me. Of Counsel in my office is a complete ass. Treats everyone as his personal secretary, including other Attorneys. Has zero respect for others working and thinks everyone is waiting around to help him. He works 2-3 hours per day. Some days, before he gets in, I unplug his computer, phone, or space heater to piss him off. He hasn’t realized it’s me yet. It gives me a slight sense of relief and a good laugh.

My manager (female) stretched her legs during a 1:1 meeting and wrapped her legs around what she thought was a table leg. Turned out it was actually my ankle. I was shocked and didn’t know how to react, and before I knew it, it had been too long to awkwardly tell her. So I sat perfectly still the entire meeting.
