I have been invited to move up to the junior partner level in my mid-sized insurance defense/medical malpractice defense firm, but the terms essentially make me an independent contractor. What does your firm's junior partner track look like? I have been offered 50% of all income brought in, but I have to deal with my own insurance, pay all my own benefits, and handle my own insurance. Is this normal?

That’s a very very unusually high number for a midsized company (50%) plus consider if you’re paying flat out for healthcare what that will cost, with any dependents then assuming you have mortgage/utilities/debt payments, etc.

Unless you’re worth $4/5M as of today I would be weary of any offer like that in today’s economy especially…

Accidentally fell asleep on camera during a dept meeting just for a moment. I wasnt feeling well. No one said anything. My boss emailed me right after to shame me for it and asked me to apologize to everyone for being "disruptive".

My boss is often passive aggressive but only with me. She also micro-manages everyone. I suspect she resents that i am the only fully remote employee (I am ill). I apologized to avoid issues.

Am I wrong to think she is over-reacting and singling me out?

I have doubt as I have cleared Mindtree orchard Training above 70% marks as per their eligibility criteria.
My educational profile is - 10th - 74.55% , 12th - 56.31% & BE - 6.56/10 CGPA. In the offer letter received that Educational qualification for BE should be above 60% i.e CGPA*10 = 65.6% in my case.
Now I'm worried that will they terminate me for 12th marks , because in offer letter only BE % was mentioned as eligibility. And now I'm on bench after training. Please help 🙏
