I had this role in the past. You are the lowest role and you will do the dirty work while others just “call the shots”. I had a team throw all of their work on me while they talked about smart water bottles. While it may be good pay, a resume booster, and may have benefits, you aren’t in a significant situation. I generally advise to stay away from the DC unless they are a senior analyst or higher, and the best outcome being a CORE Consultant or higher.
No it’s extremely difficult at all levels. Don’t take the job betting on being the exception to the rule. I promise you’ll be kicking yourself later
