Is TCS currently providing wfh option? I had given interview in TCS 3-4 months back and was selected also. But the HR wasn't sure if I will have wfh or wfo.And I wanted wfh only so I left the offer. Now again I received call from TCS and now they are saying it's upon choice if I want wfh or wfo.So confused whether to go for interview or not.Does anyone know if they are providing wfh or wfo by choice? I'm currently at Mumbai location and as per the call from TCS it's on me what to choose. please advise 🙏

I’m 10-4 these days, no joke
feels this. I was a 5:30am gym goer M-F and now I’m sleeping till 7/7:30 and still very tired. I find that I’m actually getting too much sleep and I think that’s the cause of being over tired. I tried going to bed a little later now and waking up at 7/7:30 to average 7-8 hours instead of 9+.
This is going to be hard for my routine when things go back to normal, but I just can’t see the value in waking up at 5:30am without a gym to go to🥺.

Continue to wake up at 5:30 and sit in one place to psych yourself up until 9:00 and have the mindset to crush the day. But you need to get up at 5 to get in the zone
I would kill for that problem.

That’s a wild aged pack you’ve got there. Hopefully they’re not waking you up in the middle of the night or yelling “time to wake up!!” from their crib at 5:45 am...

Same boat but honestly nothing can take away my 8 hours of sleep ✊🏼

Why does 9am matter as long as work gets done?
For me, getting up at 9 means sleeping early.
I've had a harder time sleeping but fixing exercise and diet so that I'm not still pumping sugar at 10:30 has helped in spades. -- too little energy expenditure locked indoors.

Sorry to hear that OP :(
I used to be BDO, and luckily avoided such managers but definitely know that happens..

My entire body aches and am tired even if I sleep 9+ hours. I work with multiple time zones so morning is prime time for meetings. I typically work 8-6 or 8-8pm and am mentally and physically drained but diet plays an important factor. I need to switch to more lean protein and vegetables versus multiple heavy carb meals and enforce frequent breaks to stand up, do some quick exercise.
Im pulling 8-3 these days

I’m with you. I’ve never been a morning person, so having nothing *making* me be in front of my computer by 8:00 is making it hard to get out of bed. I was doing okay until this week, but the last two days I’ve stayed in bed past 9:30. I’d much rather work later in the day, and I’m more productive when I do.
We've all been forced to work a schedule that only comes naturally to some so I don't think you should feel too bad about it. I'm a night owl, always have been. Ive been starting a bit later, taking mid day breaks when it's nice outside and then logging on for a few hours in the evening. If you don't have a meeting at 8am, then have a chill morning.
I'll log in to make sure I don't have any urgent emails but then take time to enjoy my coffee and sit for a bit or do some yoga before I start my work day.

Since being on lockdown I’ve noticed that I used to get up every morning at 5:30 or at the latest 6 o’clock and I always thought that was my natural rhythm but now I find that sleeping till 730 is more my natural rhythm. I know that most of us want to be in front of the computer by 8 AM, which I am, and I usually work until six or seven pm
Totally. I have a recurring block on my calendar from 12AM–8:30AM and basically decline meeting requests within that window with very few exceptions. Even 8:30 feels too early for me but at least I’m cutting out those 6am calls with the East coast/Midwest.
