It's definitely not easy and there is probably not a perfect answer. But I always think about the fact that this was my choice and this is still what I want. In other words, waiting for GC and going through tough times at work is still better than the perspectives I had personally and professionally in my home country, this is what really keeps me going. As part of my routine, I try to exercise at least 2 times a week, eat relatively healthy and lots of facetiming with close friends and family :)
Keep it up! You're not alone!
STM1, completely agree. I also think therapy helps, with this pandemic environment doing online therapy with someone from your home country also became possibility.
I am in (basically) the same boat!!! I have been stuck in the GC process for such a long time that I have lost all motivation in my current job. I am coasting, just doing the bare minimum, waiting for the wait to be over so I can find a new career that will motivate me. I wish I had advice to give, but you’re not alone, hang in there 👍🏻
Oh I already did. They got the same response from USCIS as I did (“cases are processed in the order they come in. There is high volume.”)

Agree it's depressing not knowing when the real normalcy happens again. Even escaping one of them would help I believe
Hang in there, one day you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. Your destination could be around the corner, just you can’t see it right now. Been in your situation and only thing I can say is don’t lose hope and don’t take any abrupt decisions.

Hey - EB2 ROW here as well. On the same boat. Cannot go home, covid restrictions, deep in BS work that I no longer care about, having to be “professional” when my mental health is literally falling apart. Im with you and hope we both get out soon.
