I have benefitted so much from WFH. I’ve had more time to cook, exercise, and get more sleep. The dread of returning to the office is getting to me and I hope we don’t have to return to the office again soon.

I hate working from home so much :( I am mostly just high and eating Cheetos. I need adult supervision during work hours

Thanks! I wish I was lying… struggling so much

I feel the opposite. I just want to be able to resolve simple stuff without thirty minutes of getting everybody on zoom and emailing docs back and forth and asking people to repeat themselves twelve times because their connection is cutting out. 😝

Wfh makes you realize how much down time there is in the day and wasted time in the office. If you have some down time you could do laundry, go to the gym, make some food, etc.

Exactly! I feel so much more productive WFH!

Working at home is so much more efficient for me. Less distractions, more desk space with extra monitors, easier to communicate with people, no wasted time commuting or sitting in the office for no reason.

Definitely agree! I’m overall so much happier! Hope you get to work from home a while longer too!

Really hope that RTO gets pushed out!

My client has already told us to come into office starting in January. I'm in Houston. I'm pretty sure traveling is going to be client by client and role by role decision.

I’ve heard about returning to the office starting Jan 2022, as well. I really hope it gets pushed out more though

I'm actively looking for another job because WFH was terminated.

Hi! I found a Salesforce position in corporate development that I think I'm an excellent fit for! Is it best to apply through a referral? Also, since the position is remote, does it matter if it's based in one state and I'm in another? I've been hearing great things about Salesforce and am very excited about this opportunity. Any advice is greatly appreciated! I seriously think this is my dream job :)

I don’t belong in my job. I didn’t mind it when I joined in January and was interacting but as we’ve been work from home longer, the less motivation I have. I don’t enjoy the work but I’ve gotten unlucky with my teams too, and can’t remember the last time my manager praised me without a critique. Maybe I’m just bad at my job. At this point I just am doing the bare minimum to not get fired. What do I do? Should I look for a job that I actually would enjoy doing or stick it out?

My LO has an infection with high fever and my husband and I have been WFH all week to take care of her. Even though the infection is not contagious, it’s instructed by our pediatrician that she cannot go back to daycare until she’s fever free without any medication for 24h. My husband has been antsy to go back to work and has informed me that he absolutely has to go back tomorrow no matter what and we should just send her back to daycare with a dose of Motrin in the morning.

Hey comrades. My agency (independent agency in Chicago, not CIMA) is looking for a talented ACD/AD to primarily work on Porsche. We handle US creative across all channels. If you’re in Chicago or looking to get into the market, this is a solid opportunity. This will be a remote opportunity until the fall (so far as we know). We’d like to prioritize POC talent with automotive/luxury brand experience and solid design chops. Hit me with a direct message if you’re interested.

Is there a time when people generally “start” work remotely? Back when I was a summer before the pandemic, I commonly saw people go in between 9-10 am but I didn’t know what the norm is now that we are remote. I see emails at 8 am and I’m not sure if I’m expected to respond then or not. Also if you are on a deal where some of the members are in NY and you’re in the Midwest, are you expected to go by their times and be on when they are on?

My husband and I get along great on the weekends - we are amazing cohosts, we love to go out together, we find eachother compelling and charming. We also do well in “emergencies” - when one of us is sick or we a specific tough issues. But it feels like every weeknight is a tense and unpleasant chore of “who will make this decision about dinner/tv/how much time we should spend together in the evening vs doing our own thing” and I just feel like I can’t stand him only to be in love again Friday…
