I had responded back to the mail stating I am available for interview on Monday from 10 am till end of the week any time. After that I haven't heard back from the HR on further process. I have 17 years of experience and have an offer from EY GDS for role "Senior Managing Consultant" (Rank 32) under Technology Consulting.

Most of my experience is with Solution/Technical Architecture in the Telecom, Media and Energy & Utilities domain.

I would like to understand if EY GDS assignments are allocated taking into consideration one's domain expertise also or is it like an open field where any kind of business has to be learnt within short time as part of consulting ?
