I am currently at the end stage of interviews and waiting on a decision from a company if an offer is extended. I reached out to the recruiter on Tuesday asking when I should expect a notification, and was informed Friday. I followed up once more today (Friday), and they stated for me to reach out to them on Monday about the position as they need more time. Few months after that I feel like I’ve settled into the role more, bonded with my team and just happier overall. I still dread working every weekend & over holidays but I feel more confident about my work. We had reviews and turns out I’m top bucket/highest ranked analyst in my class (NYC EB) and now I feel guilty about leaving. Anyone have thoughts here?

We spent NYE at my wife's sister's place who has a 5 and 8 year old. We have a 9 and 7 year old. All the kids like to play video games and have tablets. We are strict with screen time and control what kind of games they play. My nephew's have no time limit and play fortnite all day with voice chat.
