Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox. I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?
I don’t think it’s a game, but they’re clearly oblivious to the market and bing respectful.
Unless this is a dream job with a top company/role you want (or you really want out of your current gig) I’d tell them you have developed a case of not wanting to waste your time.
If after the interview day there are conflicting views, you think they should just turn-down, vs exploring further?
I mean, I’m fine with that in principle, but I’d rather have the opportunity to address concerns, vs just getting told no.
I stopped doing case studies.. In this day and age, my body of work should be good enough.. I have declined interviews cos of that.. Too stressful for me, plus I ain't got the time to go 'brush up'... work is mad busy, I got 5 kids to attend to...ain't got time for that..🥺

Name and shame please
As someone who regularly interviews candidates and with lack of information provided here, I'd like to chip in with my comment.
No one has so much time or bandwidth to play games with a candidate.
Could be many different reasons and the most probable being they had conflicting feedback in the initial interviews - but definitely means they are interested - only thing u can do now is stay positive and give your best for the interview. Try to think back on what did not go so well in the first 4 and go prepared with those questions this time. Good luck!

Not a game. They’re probably being honest with you. If you don’t want the job that much or think it’s not worth your time, pass. If you really want it, go for it.
Is this AP? Heard a few stories that they are very selective and there add rounds and rounds if they are not 100% but only 90% convinced
Given OP didn’t know was AP stood for, probably somewhere else 🤷🏼♂️

Ohhhhh yeah at this point tell them you’d be happy to do a full workshop for them as a paid employee
I’m surprised you said yes a case in the first place. I’ve declined almost every interview that had anymore of case in it.
For sure. I know a lot of my friends who love casing. I did it once or twice to get to where I am and at this point I just don’t have the mental bandwidth to prep for cases again. This is also taking about general casing not a here “here is our data and please analyze and come in with a hypothesis” those are fun.
Communication skills? Are you an esl?
Lol. English is my one and only
I doubt they're playing games with you intentionally.
However... if their bar is so high for you to make you go through 4 interviews plus a case study, and the bar for themselves is so low that they lost your information regarding the case study that you did complete... yeah, that's not a place I'd want to work at.
Well they like you. But some body you interviewed with is not convinced. So that's my guess...
