What’s the deal with Eide Bailly wanting references for a behavioral survey before the actual interview even takes place? Don’t want to blast my current manager and co-workers with emails and texts that I’m looking for another job and need them to answer a survey for me. Does this seem weird to anyone else?

Hi fishes, what are the chances of Pwc AC rescinding an offer, given the market condition. The offer letter I have received seems to be generic and doesn't look it is for a specific project. The role seems to be generic. I am a little hesitant, specially because of HR's behaviour who doesn't seem to care responding to my queries and ignores all my emails and calls. Any advice?
Hi Guys,
Anyone here from RPA domain who can refer me directly to their manager/HR?
I see a lot of openings on Linkedin but after applying the status of those applications never proceeds from 'Under Review'.
If someone can directly refer in their project, it will help.
TIA :)

Hi, I understand your frustration with job hunting and past experiences. We have positions available with no requirements and flexible working hours. The pay is good, and you won’t face those issues here. Interested?
I know, just acting like I fell for it. I didn't share ny of my info either.
This BBC article perfectly captures the frustration of being ghosted. You'll definitely relate : https://www.bbc.com/worklife/article/20240315-ghost-jobs-digital-job-boards
Hey there, idk if this will give you some comfort but I'm in the same boat and my work history is clean with no problems. It just seems to be the job market right now since interest rates are up and companies seem to be hesitant to hire considering high interest rates right now. Wait until interest rates are cut to see if the market for jobs opens up more. Just my two cents.
Yeah, I think you're right. I'll just wait and see how it goes then. Thanks for your comment. It helps to know I'm not the only one. Hopefully everything improves at least somewhat. Best of luck.
"Spreading rumors". What are we, back in high school? Grow up
Yeah, same thing I thought, but, I guess ssome people don't grow up. I've ignored them, for the most part, but sometimes, crazy shit happens. One of those rumors prompted law enforcement intervention. Hence why I said that they caused a huge scandal in one of my comments. I didn't do anything that could warrant police response, but thry put the blame on me, without any proof.

Have you ever thought about affiliate marketing (gig work)? It allows you to earn money in your free time. This could be a way for you to earn some extra money, while looking for full-time work. We have an affiliate program. If interested, let me know.
Yeah, I mean, it sounds interesting. But I'm a bit skeptical about those kinds of jobs.
sounds like my stalker. I have a fan base. Maybe don't leave Walmart as a reference. Put down that you been driving people their destination. I had this one I had worked with, if she doesn't like you she likes to set people up so they have to resign from their position. She was a workplace bully bigot, she just doesn't want people to know the real her. I suspected her of doing that, leaving a bad reference since a comment I had only stated around her and the manager casually bringing that up in the new employment workplace. Her friend that worked with us, said she acts the way she does since withdrawling from opiates. It made sense why she was goofy. 😆 Then her and her buddies were on the news back to back one year. The manager's whole staff was related to the old supervisor, her family member that use to work with us, helped her boyfriend move his mom's dead body after he had killed her, then put her partner's four year old brother alive into the Platte River while leaving the other in an apartment trash container. Sooner or later they'll be like my old supervisor, on the news standing next to her younger brother for shooting up women's skirts with a camera phone at a local Bellevue Walmart. 😆 Own your own business and then you can do anything you want.
It is surprising and alarming that 40% of companies post fake jobs. The one issue I have had was large companies posting jobs for positions that they already knew were going to be filled by someone internally, but they went through the process of interviewing a few people because of organizational or legal requirements.
Regarding Walmart, I would ask a fellow coworker you got along with (as high on the food chain as you can manage) to write a personal recommendation. Then turn it in with your resume. Explain during the interview that there were some management issues at that location, and that you you will give this job your best effort just as you did with them.
Besides, the only place I can meet them would be the store, but I can't go there at this time.
Is there a possibility that my former employer is trying to harm my reputation? I mean, they were spreading rumors about me when I was working there, and even after resigning. It even got to the point where they caused a scandal over something I had nothing to do with. Is it possible that they are telling these lies to hiring managers at the places I apply at? Every local company I apply at wants to have me on their team at first but just a few days after my interview or even after an offer was made, they back out, giving no explanation at all. The position I applied for at National General is a remote work opportunity. There is no local agency in my area, either. I haven't received an offer yet, but I haven't been denied yet.
I loved my job at Walmart at first, but into my second year, everything fell apart.
Yeah, I have thought about that. I was looking at a position that my local hospital has open for a PRN pharmacy cashier. The only downsides to it is the hours are not guaranteed, and they take a while to respond to applications.
