What are your thoughts on this?
Hi, I am new to Canada and currently living in Vancouver, BC. I was looking for opportunities in the Financial Services industry in the Metro Vancouver Area. I have about 3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services and HealthTech industry and worked alongside IBM and PwC in developing and implementing cutting-edge FinTech products for business clients of a Financial Institution and led the Finance and data science team at a Health tech startup. Let me know if anyone can help me.

Words cannot begin to describe air India. Go with what D1 said.
Compared to other available options, they are sub par
Try etihad or Emirates with the layover, worth it honestly for a much bette experience
C1 - how did these flights smell on a scale of 1 (flowers) to 10 (3 day old curry)?
...and btw it was cheaper than Air India non stop to Delhi
They’re putting a lot of effort into fixing their image. Delhi to SFO has good food in first
Planes are old; food is bad; also I've never had a single air India flight on time (4 delays out of 4 legs, delayed from 2 to 4h each time)
I did it. It's just ok. Other airlines make it a more special experience I they did give me a cool set of pajamas, though!
Air India is terrible.
Fly emirates if you want a worthwhile and not very stressful experience
Avoid Air India at all costs. Just check out the reviews on the travel blogs!
Best bet are the Gulf carriers, Asian carriers, or Lufthansa.
The US legacy carriers also fly there. For example, United has nonstops to BOM and DEL from EWR and use a 777 with a 2x2x2 config in business class.
I didn't mind the smell that much, despite it being worse than normal airlines. It's just... look I'm as cheap as the next guy (probably more), and next time I'll pay the hundreds to not take Air India. Waiting in the Delhi airport at midnight because my plane was delayed 4h was just an awful time.
Wow. Overwhelming consensus here. I will avoid it
I recently flew Lufthansa Chicago to Delhi - amazing A380 experience and great Indian food
Z1 - what in particular was bad?
TERRIBLE. Don’t fly air India!
C1 said it well. Air India business feels kind of like just a normal ticket on a “regular” carrier but with more legroom and worse food. And I like Indian food, btw. It’s just god awful on Air India
D2: about an 8
Qatar, Emirates or Etihad are far better options.
DO NOT FLY AIR INDIA. I can’t scream out loud at this enough.
